Times have changed since I made this post, I'm using MySpace, Facebook and Twitter on a daily basis now.

    Question for you facebookers.

Did you guys create a fan page or did you make a normal facebook page under your limo name? Hope that makes sense!

I did a normal one for myself and then a "fan" page for the business because I thought it would get kicked out if I did a normal one for the business. Then I started seeing all these businesses with normal pages. But now the new facebook treats the fan pages more like normal pages so your updates and other stuff shows up just like a normal page. You can even go to your fan page and suggest your friends become a fan. It is a lot better now than before. If you already have a normal page you can not start another normal page with the same email address.

It is simply ridiculous how much work we receive from Facebook. I would say at least 5 good leads a day. We have partnered up with the local radio station and run contest that they filter through our fan page. For example, "Anyone looking to win 24 free tickets to Faith Hill join River Parish on facebook and tell us why you and your friends should be the lucky winners." our response from this is CRAZY!! Right now we are giving away a package to the CMA's in Nashville. It really has been a hit for us! It's fun also! So go join us River Parish Limousine.

Facebook rocks... but you have to work it daily. Just having a page won't do anything for you.

If youll look at the bottom of our page you will see where our webmaster messed up when he added the link. Right now it says "Dustin Clouatre is a fan of River Parish" and gives a little link but it isnt the little "F" in the blue box like I want it. We are working on fixing that today.
