    Default Hello from Australia

    Hi all

I stumbled across your great site whilst doing a google search.

I am about a week away from obtaining a Small Charter Vehicle Licence SCV. This allows me to effectively operate a 'Limo' service.

I will be operating a General Motors Holden Statesman. 6.0 Litre Chevrolet V8. It has power everthing and I guess is the eqivilant of your Caddies.

There are some great ideas on this forum and I look forward to contributing.

I have an imense love of American cars especially, caddies, chevy's and your great trucks!

    Regards

    Darren

Welcome !! I look forward to seeing some of the limousines from down under. I thought all of the cars there were V-6 engines or smaller, didn't know there was anything V-8 powered for many years.

    Hey Digger

If you get the chance look up HOLDEN SPECIAL VEHICLES (HSV) and FORD PERFORMANCE VEHICLES (FPV).

Rear wheel drive V8 engined cars have always been popular in Australia. GM Holden has had a long term division that has been putting out factory muscle cars.

    Cheers

    Hey Newjack3116,
Great to see another Aussie on the boards!
As you said, there is a lot of interesting content on this website, but unfortunately hard to relate to. Whilst I only post rarely, I'm a regular reader.

Not sure if you have a Facebook account, but if so, please join my group 'limochat'. In summary, its a Facebook group for chauffeurs worldwide. Although new, we have 130 members, 20 of which are Aussies.

    Regards,
    Burgman

    Welcome Darren.

Just out of curiosity, do Australian kisses really come from Australia?
Tough times don't last. Tough people do.
