Interesting breakdown in your fare structure.

Do you pay the airport for the fees you add on to the bill? and do you really charge for stopping !!!!! I have never heard of that in 30 years in the business, sounds like a bit of gouging to me.

But as the lovely lady below says welcome.

Dick we service the Toronto Airport - the Airport charges us $10 per sedan or SUV and $20 for stretches every single time we go to the airport. For us its not a big deal because we are in the Buffalo area and only go to Toronto onece or twice a week but think about a large car service. Pain in the neck.

We also add this to our pricing but dont call it a tax, we just roll it in to the quoted fee. We have to report to the limo lot at the airport, go inside a trailer and pay our fee, get a ticket stub with a number. Then we have to sit outside until we are called over the loud speaker and report to the designated pole # announced over the speaker. A pain in the U know what. No ticket to give to the commisar then you get booted back to the limo lot and are not allowed to retreive your customer until you pay the fee.

Thanks for that information Jim, I was under the impression that you only paid $10.00 for a pick up, sounds like the Airport are making this industry pay for their new terminal building.

    Hi Dick,

At toronto airport there is only a fee for pick up, not drops. I think on Torontoairportlimos website the drop off charge that you may have seen is for enroute unscheduled stops. If i'm not mistaken this is quite common.

Whoops yes I meant P/U only (thanks Marcus, PS How are you doing long time no talk!??). We dont have to pay for dropoffs. But we do charge for unscheduled stops on enroute as well.

For example we are doing a tranfer from Canda back to the Buffalo airport and the customer wants to stop at the duty free -- well they could be bee bopping in there for 30 minutes, we charge them $25 per stop not to exceed 30 minutes, if we have time to make a stop. People know this beforehand as we send it to them on their confirmation/contract. We still get takers because alot of people like getting their cheap booze and $100+ in taxes back at the border duty free shop.

    Hi Jim,

Doing great! We just added a new 30 passenger freightliner ECB limo bus. Bought it at the AC show in November. Our first gig was a radio promo to your neck of the woods at the
Niagara outlet mall. Seems like Senneca Casino really picking up with the smoking ban on the Canadian side. If you are planning to go to the Vegas show call or email me. Say hi to Tonya for me.

    Cheers,
