Thread: NLA - Love It or Leave It?

They are supposed to be counted at the annual meeting of the members of NLA, but since no annual meeting has been legally noticed, and regardless or whether it was or wasn't, you can expect that NLA will continue to act unlawfully and announce some sort of election results whenever someone feels like it. What makes you think any votes will be "counted." Do you think this was really an election or something? This was a charade to get to an announcement that fits what the NLA directors want, not an election at all. What do you expect from our fearless leaders (George Jacobs and Cory Rozen) who have told Tom Mazza that it doesn't matter what the members want, they know better. I am watching in mild amusement - the serious sh*t will start after Las Vegas in court. Stay tuned

Time to bring this topic back to the fore for those who have either forgotten, or weren't around when the putsch started. Regrettably, the putsch got hijacked. Start at the last page (32) and work forward.

I will once again repeat what I have said many times since 2000: (a) NLA cannot and will not be reformed without chucking the current by-laws and starting with a clean sheet of paper; or (b) by starting a new association.

Lordy, I hadn't seen this one. Started at the beginning - cripe, they were in LEXINGTON??? I LOVE Lexington - horse territory, my dream job would be curator of the International Museum of the Horse at the Horse Park, but I digress SUBSTANTIALLY - um, yep. Definitely not where I'd have the NLA.

Back to reading page 2 of 43......onward.

This one is even before my time. Of course with a NLA Rep & NLA Membered Associations opposing Florida State taking over regulating the Limo Industry this past legislative session, the NLA still sucks big time.

The only reason I remain a member is the listing in book and on their website. Have been a member for 9 years now. To be fair, I haven't been active, just don't have the time.
