Hope it's QVM Joel, because Ford's been having trouble with rear diff's recently. It should be under warranty. Might be the limited slip clutches.

It is and in the ford truck forums rear noise and problems seem to common . Ford has problems with truck rears .Some excursion owners are getting new trucks under the lemon law as they have been repaired a number of times and still have problems. I wonder how and if a stretch excursion is covered by lemon law?

If it's QVM, it may be. Businesses may be treated differently though, which is the case whenever something bad happens to you.
