I was under the impression Zurich did away with party bus coverage.

The party bus marked is dead. Not to discourage you, we renewed our insurance this past October.
Our insurance carrier (Lancer Insurance, a great company to work with) was under the wrong impression how we operate. Although we have the loud music, large screen tv's and dual 12" woofers, we do not operate a party bus. I believe is we did not have an excellent safety and accident record, and if we did no have the other fleet vehicles, it would have been cost prohibited to operate this vehicle. We primarily concentrate on Church Groups, City Tours and Corporate events. Proms are very limited. In Alabama, we have only 4 million people, whereas other major cities have 2 to 4 million people in a concentrated area.

So, if you are planning to operate a party bus, first plan to spend $10,000 to $12,000 for insurance; if you can find a carrier. Alabama is a very conservative state. You will not have access to the same market you would have in Jersey or Las Vegas. What area are you planning to operate in?

    Our agent is Walker Insurance.
