I'm big on the message that the photos give.

My take on your photos on those web pages is that most of them are clearly "stock" photos that have nothing to do with your actual business, so it's not clear to me if they are all stock photos.

Stock photos makes it feel like I have no idea who you really are as a business. You don't want to come off as not being genuine, and you do.

I'll be honest, in looking at the photos on the site, there were some that I would have guessed were stock, that appear to be original (mainly the party bus photos, you had someone who did a good job getting them, I hated doing inside shots of limos when I worked for a company 14 years ago doing their site). Also, didn't look at them all, but the video you have on the party bus page is excellent!

For those interested in how to check photos, and more importantly how to tell if someone ripped off some of your original photos:

If you are in Chrome, boy did they make it easy... Right click on the image and choose "Search Google For This Image"

If you are in Firefox, you can add an addon to give you the same functionality, here is an example plugin: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...mage-search-1/

If you don't want the plugin, you can easily manually do it in Firefox, or if you want to do the search for the "Background Image": Right click on the image, and for regular images, choose "View Image", if it is the background image, choose "View Background Image". Now that you have just the image with the full URL in your browser, go to the beginning of the URL and paste in the following, and then press ENTER.

    http://www.google.com/searchbyimage?image_url=

Here is an example from NV's site, I hope they don't mind, but I think it is an example of a case where someone did take one of their photos and used it:

On the page: http://apilimos.com/Fleet/Sacramento...tal/tabid/1540 get the bottom image on the right, and you will end up viewing: http://apilimos.com/portals/59/API%2...e%20Lights.jpg (note, in Firefox, you will not see http:// but this still works) Now add in the above google magic and you get: http://www.google.com/searchbyimage?...e%20Lights.jpg

For stock photos, you are going to see TONS of results with it, in this case there are very few, most of them are pages that belong to NV Tours, however there are 2 or three other sites (for companies in other states) that also use the image on their sites...

As an example of finding a stock photo, and also an example of how good a job google will do at search, take the header image for the site: http://apilimos.com/Portals/59/web_site_header-2.png Even with text around it, google is able to easily find the stock image. http://www.google.com/searchbyimage?...e_header-2.png Note the huge difference in number of results?

Now lastly, here is a very excellent example of what to DEFINITELY not do on your site for images, especially (IMO) if you are calling yourself "First Class": http://www.desertlimos.com/images/slider/wedding.jpg Man I about died laughing at that pathetic "paint job" they did to this photo: http://apilimos.com/portals/59/Images/weddingpages1.png

NVTours, I hope you do not take offense to me using some items from your site as an example. You do have a good start on getting original photos out there, and more importantly good looking originals. Hopefully you will keep building out your site to eventually get to having all non-stock photos.

    Hello,

I am new to the limo business and starting out with 1 lonely sedan:-( The web and my web-pages is the only reason I was able to enter the business and hit the ground running. I began generating revenue immediately thanks to the web. I must also say that I have passion for direct-response marketing.

The web is a dream come true for direct response marketing...I can test every element of a webpage and immediately know what increases phone calls and what reduces them.

Your websites looks great! You should also consider testing some short videos of the wine-tours on the page. I would also definitely add an email-optin form for your website visitors for the site napavallylimos.com. Maybe something like "subscribe to our newsletter to receive tour coupons and get the latest winery information"

MY guess is people start planning their trip a few weeks or months in advanced...this will allow you to build trust via email while they continue to plan and research their trip.

Lastly if you use any kind of paid internet marketing I would create different pages for each service. So for example I would have airport transportation on a separate page from wine-tours.

Hope you find this information helpful!

    Tye
