Depends on the year of the car, but assuming it is newer, Michelin is the only manufacturer of the proper size and load rated tires.

225 70 16 ? Or 225 60 16 .... Either way .....Michelin symmetrys are good tires or energy lx4s . To be honest with you don't have to go with an expensive tire there are more than a few name brand tires that offer a great ride , load rating , and wear. Falkens , kumho , hankook , bf Goodrich, iv heard maxxis last really long etc ... Do your research and you will something great. Goodluck !

Good luck getting the 225 70 R16's I had to order mine from Tire Rack and they took 6 months to deliver them to me, but I like the classic Symmetry White Wall tire over the Black wall, in my opinion they just look classier on the Lincolns. I run Hankook Black walls on my Infiniti because they are a great tire for the price.

Because of the GVWR of the vehicle, you are going to want at least a load rating of 103. Goodyear makes the Assurance tire and Hankook the Avid in that load rating. Michelin is still the best. For a white limo, having black walls works just fine. There is something about having the white walls on a black stretch that just appeals to me.

Check the load rating on the 60's not sure it's as good as the 70's I know the Michelin Symmetry 225/70r16 has a load rating of a 107. Great tire quiet ride, long lasting and definately white stripe in.

The 60's are smaller and don't fill the Lincoln Wheelwell as do the 70's I tried the 60's and hated the way they looked.

The only tire you want to use on your limo is: Michelin Symmetry 225/70R16 XL or 107T Whitewall.

Gives you a total vehicle capacity of 2150x4=8600 lbs gvw

You want to use a tire that has an RF(reinforced) or XL rating (extra load): http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tirete....jsp?techid=55 Read this page to get an understanding of the inflation pressures.

This is the listing on my tire wholesaler's website. When we had the no availability situation last year, Michelin apparently changed and is no longer using the XL designation.

Another note: Just because someone can post on here, doesn't mean they have a clue on a specific subject. As has been posted, "Do your research."

Go to your local Discount Tire/Tire Kingdom type outlet. Tell them about your fleet, ask if they can give you a better deal.

Tire prices are all over the map. I am buying at wholesale price from the discount chain, they get to charge for mounting + the road hazard warranty package.

    Good Luck!
