If the dome lights don't turn off when the master switch has been turned off I believe it would be the stock interior lights are turned on. Check your dashlight intensity switch has been rotated all the way to the right, rotate to the left a little.

The lights in the front drivers area turn off, but the rear dome lights in the stretch part stay on.
I can't even dim them when the power is on from the rear control panel.

There is a electronic reostat on the circuit board that controls the intensity of your dome lights. The problem is when you kill the power to the stretch, it should also kill this power. Unless it is one of the door switches in the pillars.

I know this sound elementary, but have you checked the toggle switch on the light itself?

If you mean the switch that brightens the dash and turns on front courtesy lights i did check that thanks.
I'm going to swap my front main board behind the passenger seat with another one of my excursions and see if the lights stay on after the swap.

No, not the switch on the dash. There is a switch on the actual lights in the rear overhead

If it was mine, I would try to isolate the circuit it was on by removing one fuse at a time. Once you have the circuit isolated you can go thru and find out the why it is staying on.
