2007 Stretch Town car Blend door problems.

I have a 2007 Executive Coach Builder Icon and having a blend door problem, most of the time the A/C blows out of the vent but on occasion it dips down to the floor manualy without changing anything. I believe it could be the blend door actuator but not sure, have anyone experience the same problem and if so what is your suggestions. Thanks for any comments.

Run a system self test and see what it comes back with. That should help you narrow down the problem. It may just be that the actuator motor behind the glove box just needs to be tapped a couple times with the end of a screwdriver or wrench.

Isn't the blend door acuator for the heat and ac controls.
You might have a problem with the controls. If you have another car, try switching the control panel.

Both are mini computers and either could be bad but I agree, swapping could rule out some things. There are generally 3 actuators, one controls the hot/cold blend door, another controls which vents the air comes from, and the last controls the fresh/recirculate air door.

I have 4 of those and to be honest i had a problem with one of them the 2007 Stretch Town car and all i had to do was switch the panel so you should deff. try that and see if it works out

Again, start with the system self test to see what code gets thrown back. That will help deliver a solution.
