Volkswagons Tourags

A competitor here in the area has bought two of these Volkswagons Tourags to add to there fleet. They have one with taxi plates and one with livery plates. They are calling these cars Executive SUV's even though there a mini van according to volkswagons website. I have had a few calls about using my Expedition as an Executive SUV and am pricing it accordingly. I am also going to market this vehicle that way since it is an SUV and not a mini van. What is your opinion of these mini vans being used in the livery business ?

I just went to the VW website and they have it listed as an SUV. I don't know where you got the idea that it was a minivan. Also, VW is to Audi as Ford is to Lincoln. If they have a client base that will buy it, let them.

That makes more sense. I was trying to figure out how a Touareg could have possibly been called a minivan. Outside of misrepresenting what the vehicles truly are to their clients, I don't see how they are hurting anything. We have lots of airport shuttles that utilize minivans in the KC area. They service a different type of clientele than I do, so I'm not concerned about them. In fact, one company even refers business to me.
