But, as Max wrote my comments may have been taken out of context... but that's no reason to look down from one's nose and making accusations cable etc. were all business men, and one day hopefully meet each other, these forums are supposed to help,NOT for throwing Sh*t
    My apologies
I never looked down upon you until you posted that nasty response. I was merely making a suggestion of looking to some of the luxurious expenses you may have in your life that could be eliminated so that money could be saved for the purchasing of LimoAnywhere. And if you look, I never made an accusation that you had a poor business. I did make the assumption that since you stated $500 was too rich for you right now that your reserves were rather low. That worries me because one wreck, one loss, one incident can cause your business to come crashing down because you have no monetary strength.

What better way to explain what GL is than through a video introduction...? Be sure to turn up the volume!

Cute. It seems like that is the new way of catching people's attention in advertising and media - bleeping out curse words.

Care to give me a hint as to why almost immediately after I receive an e-mail offering a job I get an e-mail canceling it?

I have Limo Anywhere open, and it pops up "Offer from groundlink" click it, and its not there!

It worked for the first job i got, but that's it, hasn't worked since.

My thought too when I first saw it. I like LA fine, but I don't like being forced into a software product in order to be an affiliate. I think I'll pass for now.

    Raphael,

Here is how the process works...

GroundLink sends out job offers to several companies at the same time. It is NOT a bidding system because the rates are pre-negotiated and every affiliate has the exact same rate.

First affiliate to accept the offer automatically gets it and others get notified that the offer (i.e. reservation) is no longer available.

It is on a first come first served basis, but GroundLink is working on fine-tuning this algorithm to spread the load more evenly among its affiliates in each market.

I can assure that it is not their intent to "tease" you with offers and then cancel them. They are not actually being cancelled per se. It's just someone in the SF area apparently has their finger on the "accept" link at all times.

I get what you are saying, but someone asking you to use a certain product in order to receive their farm-in work is NOT the same as you buying software and someone forcing you to take on some farm-in work you don't really want. In other words if Limo Anywhere forced you to take GroundLink jobs JUST BECAUSE you bought our software, that would have been bad.

Please understand that in order for the entire farm-in/farm-out process to be most efficient, vendors can choose to work with only specific products. GroundLink and Limo Anywhere have a very extensive integration that allows affiliates to cut down the number of calls their receive for every farm-in job. There is more benefits to it but this is the most obvious one.

I personally know someone who receives 100 (literally) phone calls from Boston Coach on the 20 farm-ins they do per day for them. That alone is a full time job!

We would really like to bring you on board as a Limo Anywhere customer though. Please let us know if we can provide you with a free demo so you can see our system first-hand. Our system is currently used by over 2600 operators in 28 countries and we would love for you to become part of our community.

Max, I've used LA extensively in the past and I understand GL wouldn't be forcing me to take farm-in work. I'd like to talk to you about signing up, but I'd like to know that the GL work would be enough to amortize the cost of the LA software. Please contact me if possible and maybe we can do some business. info@ausultimate.com

Time to chime in (since I was the one that broke the acquisition on the forum). Well, I have to give props to GroundLink, that commercial is funny as hell!!! I love it!!! Just my 2 cents. Anyways...... What's up folks? I have been so busy lately that I haven't had to much of an opportunity to stop by. Hows it going!
