Sony has been good so far

But a good search term is "single DIN DVD "
That will bring up what you need.

Our party bus uses the model found here. We had to replace it a few months ago because a client broke the auxiliary input and it was less expensive to replace then fix. It can handle connections for our 2000 watt system, ipod, cd, dvd, satellite radio and direct tv. We have it hooked up to a 52" flat screen and also five 22" screens.

It's always best to have your FM/CD player separate from your DVD player, this way you can keep a video running while people jam on the stereo system. If both are in the same unit you can't have an abiance DVD playing while the FM/CD is playing.

I was wondering about this when I go to upgrade. I thought about consolidating them but maybe not.

Ya it's a lot harder to find a stereo with a DVD function that isn't a flip down screen as such. So what are u guys using for DVD players then if u separate them Ya cause stereo cd players are cheap now

For several buses I have used the rear-seat video system that Walmart sells... the ones that strap to the headrests. The Philips version has "video-out" so you can wire that to the "video-in" on any flat-screen TV. I just mount them in and use them as an extra monitor. In this pic you can see the small DVD player at the top.

I put blu ray players in now. They are under $100 at best buy/walmart. I also put in a cd player that has an aux input and also mp3 input in the back. That way they can either watch screen saver dvds provided while listening to music or they can listen to the sound on whatever dvd they are playing. If you use the front aux cd players the cords get stolen or even worse someone falls on it and the headphone snaps off inside.

I like Jensen vm8113. It's very easy to use and has all the capabilities one could look for in a party bus stereo.
