thank you, yes I have started stocking up but only on interior parts like glasses. Had a few clients 'toast' too hard.

Next step will be stocking up on the above mentioned parts. Usually in a year I get about 15k miles and usually just do a full tune up.

As for the excursion is there a big difference in terms of reliability in the 6l or 7.3l diesel engine ?
The 7.3l is hard to come by already converted in a limo. But have found a few good 6L.

What are some of the repairs and maintenance that you guys have done on the excursions ?
Are the parts easy to come by, even though it has been discontinued ?

    Thanks again guys

My mechanic who is a school bus mechanic now, but worked for Dayton Ohio City transit service before has told me to stay away from 6 L Fords . Problems with heads and injectors , is what he has told me. The 7.3 is a better motor if you can find one

DO not buy a 6.0L Diesel. Nothing but trouble. A v10 excursion is the best

I like the v10 better than the 7.3. Especially being in Canada you won't have to worry about plugging your vehicle in sometimes they are impossible to start in the winter.

I have a 220" excursion v10 that has no problem driving up hills unlike a 220" yukon stretch. Also you can fill the power amd you are not ramming your engine as much.

Brandon not sure of a 7.3L but the 6.Ol diesel was horrible.

Alright, so will try to get the '05 v10.
But how do you guys drive the 220" downtown traffic that must be hard especially turning into
    one way streets.

I think the most I am going to go with is 180".

So I came across a dealer selling an '03 LTC 120" 8-10 pax with 128k miles for 15,000
And an '07 expedition with 40 k miles for 50,000

He said I can give you a deal for both limo at a total cost $55,000

What do you guys think ?

The previous owner of the limo had their building catch fire, and left the business. Sold his inventory to the dealer for a low price.

For a canadian company, it has to be 140" and QVM. Nothing bigger.

Thanks guys, yea that is true our canadian restrictions really have the limo company limited in terms of can and
    cannot be done.

Some places do not even allow a 10 passenger ltc to be registered.
