Default How busy is everyone this New Years?

We have our regulars every year for New Years and I am thankful for that, but this year for what ever reason I am getting hit with a lot of last minute requests, my phones have been very active even at 10:00 pm I am getting calls. This is the best it has been in the past few years for us. I was wondering how everybody else is holding up...Good or Bad in 2011?

Two things: economy is getting slightly better and NYE is on a Sat night. This is the first year in the last 4 years we have even had a booking for NYE. We are at capacity tonight.

Nothing new years but i did a wild bachelor party on december 30th.It was the first time I have ever been late for a pick up because it was in th middle of nowhere and the road had no street sign. The house was set back from the road and there was no mail box. They were not upset because they were from out of town and couldnt find the place the first time either

We were busy with airport runs all night. I'd much rather be running back and forth to the local airports then dealing with drunks. I'm good.

Hmmm...with what I had last night, I would have to disagree. 8 hour charter that started with picking up 4 people and one address, driving 10 minutes to a second address for 2 more people, take them to a restaurant 25 minutes away, drop off, wait 6 hours down the street which was spent doing some software training online, then go back to pick them up and do the reverse.

Great to see some of you did better than last year...Let's hope this year will be better for all of us. I am not a Mayan and I don't think the 12/21/12 prediction is going to be anymore eventful than Y2K, so I'am taking New Years reservations for next year...."Get em while I got em first come first serve"

As you know I have no stretches so my hourly charters are few to none at all. Most hourly runs for nye in my area are to NYC for the night. I refuse to go into NYC on nye. Sunday was very busy day with arrivals at the airports so I was happy to be home early enough to get 4 hours of sleep and then work a 20 hour day. You might have a manhattan Kansas but they are two different animals. *(in my opinion)*

This NYE was very busy! We had to turn people away all night. I agree that with NYE being on Saturday this year everyone was down to party and have a good time...

This was our best new years ever. We jacked our prices and sold out. Our clients ranged from nice families to wealthy people looking for some fun. No partyers or drunks !!
