I have a long list of personal complaints, bait and switch tactics, general rip-offs and 'suspected' credit card theft from various Jiffy Lubes locations in our area.

They were recently booted from the BBB in Austin.

The managers in each store have no decision making ability or authority in my experience.

I refuse to use any Jiify Lube location now and we switched to a competitor of theirs with whom we have had no issues with since.

When I worked at A Major Chevrolet Dealer in the shadow of the G.M. Tech Center in Warren Mich. We use to get a lot of complaints about 2.0 engines seizing up shortly after having the PCV valve changes at some Fast Lube places. Turns out the PCV valve was allowing all the oil to be sucked out of the engine. Problem was it was not a warranty deal and some folks eneded up eating the engine replacement untill G.M. was able to prove it was the defective PCV valve a lot of these places were using.
