Default Have an idea for a party bus

Hey guys I guess I could introduce myself and give my story. First off I am no where near ready to get off the ground due to the fact that I want to get all my ducks in a row. I am a Paramedic here in Denver and have what I think would be a solid idea for a party bus. The only thing is I would like to keep it discreet since there is nothing like it. I have no first hand experience in the limo industry but since I had this idea I can't help but give it a go.

I know this seems like a long shot but I really just wanted one or two of you big fish to give me an opinion on my idea. To me it seems bad ass and like it would be great but I'm such a newb.

If I could PM you with my idea let me know. For the time being I want to keep it on the DL.

    Thanks

    Mike

Good job Rick. You may want to look up Digger and Brandon1 also. All 3 of these guys seem to have a good party bus business.

Ok, I'll wait for them to jump in here as I currently have no PM privileges and want to check with them first.

    Let me venture a guess...
A paramedic who spends a lot of time in the back of an ambulance + a revolutionary party bus idea = convert an ambulance into a party bus!

I have had the idea myself for a while. A buddy of mine owns an ambulance, he keeps it at his motorcross track. I'm not sure if my market would support such an endeavor. It would be a tough sell as a wedding vehicle, and I don't think I could get enough bachelor parties and sporting events to make a profit. If the opportunity presents itself, I may go forward at some point, but it won't be my next vehicle.
    Who dares wins.

How many people could comfortably fit into a converted ambulance? Seems like most of our party bus clients are focused on cost per person. More capacity = lower cost per person.

This ambulance party bus idea has already been done. And I doubt it sells well.

Yeah i doubt an ambulance party bus is a very hot item. Hopefully his idea is a little better than that.

I'm also not sure how the bus inspector would do with it, I was told that they will only allow buses that were manufactured as buses (no motorhomes, converted trucks, etc.).

I don't see any difference between a party bus and an funbulance. Why do you guys think it won't sell? Are you really saying that party buses are classier?
