Branding your company

How many of you have mismatched logos and other things or actually make it a point to brand all your materials such as your website, letterhead, business cards, logo, envelopes and things like that?

I feel that branding is something that should not be overlooked. It creates an immediate sense of "home" to a customer and really makes them comfortable. Tehy learn to notice your brand and routinley come back as your customer.

Does anyone have examples of their branding or "corporate identity"?

Coca Cola....Mc Donalds...Pepsi.....All the big boy's do it, there must be something to it...Consistency I believe is key for visual memorization no doubt.

I think it's definitely important to do. Particularly if you're looking to build up repeat customers. Sadly it's still a work in progress for me.

All my content is not available yet. I am designing our new logo and all our stationary, res forms, contracts, business cards and so on around it and our color scheme. If you are creative enough and have the ability/passion/patience to design your own things you can save yourself a lot of money.

My other company Infinity Mobile Advertising on the other hand is easily recognizable by its layout and colors. All My website, business cards, contracts, flyers, advertisements, vehicle wraps ect. have the exact same logo/layout/colors/theme/font and so on.

Branding is essential to any business wanting to compete in a gladiator market. Its more then just coming up with a catchy logo. Your brand must fit your target area and your all around client base.

For example CVClubs has a beautiful logo, but its a very targeted logo. This means the appeal is going to be to People coming to Vegas for Vegas and the younger entrepreneurs more so then an older local couple on the night out or older business men in Vegas for just that. One brand may kill in NYC, but fall short in Dallas TX.
The trick to a perfect brand is to encompass as much demographic and area as possible.

I'd be happy to help anyone out with some advise and tips if you need it.
