Default J seating vs bench seating???

We have never had a limo with 3 bench seats, always 1 bench and a J seat. What does everyone think on 3 bench seats. Are they better? Bad vs good? Seems that people slide to get in and out of the large cars. What is everyone's opinion?

Have driven cars with J-seats. Can be cumbersome to move around in. Would work better with 5th door.

    Just my $.02 worth.

J-seats look nicer, but really the 3-seat design is better for leg-room.

I get it that bench seat are better for legroom, but I can't get past the fact that J seat looks so much nicer.
Should I just close my eyes and get over it?

The 3-seat bench is best for maximum seating. You can put 9-passengers i the back that way. With the J-seat you lose seating in the radius curve.

I too think the 3-seat bench arrangment is the best. More Leg room and if you have the 5th door, much more ease of entry and exit for the likes of Grandma and Grandpa in the wedding party.

Biggest problem I see is the coach builders that do not leave enough space between the side seat and the seat behind the driver, I have had some where there is barely enough room to put your feet in the space provided, also inevitable the person sitting right behind you is going to stretch his or her feet out on to the top of that seat. J seat customers put there feet up on the bar...What are going to do?

We are looking to add a 120" to our fleet, and won't consider a J seat. Someone is going to get crammed in the corner and have no leg room at all. With the 3 benches, the people on the ends of the middle bench can turn out a bit for more leg room. With the J seat, not only does the corner not have any room, but the people on either side have no extra room either. If we can find a 5 door, all the better. And as Brandon mentioned, there is usually an extra cooler well.
