I'm glad I was able to make you laugh about something! I have just been super busy as of late. My forum activity has been very infrequent and when I do post a comment, it has been short.

No need for apologies. You're lucky to be so busy. Keep up the good work.

I'm catching up on my movie addiction. Unfortunately, I've been watching some real losers as of late. Don't waste your time on Mall Cop, I think it's for kids.

What's funny is I just got that using the free On Demand with my cable only to have something on the TV that wasn't a soap opera while I took a nap. I was woke up when Ford called me and said they weren't going to have the stretch done today (surprise surprise) and that the ACC system problems were both electronic and vacuum issues.

Geoff, did you get the picture of that dog I FB'ed over to you?

    UPDATE:

So far 4 calls and only one real legit call regarding pricing (and that's a reach, LOL)

    1) One call for a Mr. Ciao??? (LOL)

    2) Another call for a local competitor...asking us if we are such and such limousine.

    THEM: "Is this XYZ Limousine"?
    US: "No, it's not"
THEM: "Well do you have their number, I called 411 and they connected me to you guys"
    US: "No, we don't".
    THEM: "Oh, OK bye"

    3) Interested in a "Super Shuttle" service. We stated "we are private transportation". Well where can I find it? (that was the gist of that phone call).

    4) THEM: WHO IS THIS? WHAT IS THE NAME OF THIS?

    US: Magic Mist Limousine

THEM: OH, well how much is it bla bla

    US: $x plus tip

    THEM: OH. Bye.

Umm, ok...if you guys could see me right now...I am shaking my head...

The thing is we'll see what they actually charge me for. Remember, according to them I will only get charged for "quality" leads. Out of those 4 calls I would consider only one that I can see them charging me for. The others...no way.

    Will keep all updated.

I still stand with a poor view on pay-per-lead services. This is the sort of thing about why I didn't want to sign up with Yext.

How on earth are they going to do that? THey dont know what the customer said during the phone call, and theyre surely not analzying what each person said each time...

We pay drastically less for LDC leads per month than we would if we were in the Yellow Book/Pages. With online leads it really depends on the keywords. Since we are ranking quite well with the specific keywords in our area, we needed something that is more broad (ie: "limo rental").
