Hi Kathy, this is Gary from Bella Tours....hope all is well! Just curious, when you had your other limos where did you get replacement opera lighting for the exterior of the cars? Thanks for your help.
Hi Lenora! Sorry to not reply quickly. My home computer has been on the sick side, and I just got it fixed today. I didn't realize you had sent a message. Sorry! No I don't drive, as our limos require Class B license with passenger endorsements, like a school bus. I should have gone and taken the test with the hubby and son as I helped them study for it and knew the answers, but I really didn't think I'd need to drive. What a mistake. Someone needs to drive the limos from the storage, to the car wash, or here etc. so often it would be such a big help and time saver if I could do the transfers. But not having the license, I'm not on the insurance. We did have an older 6 pak at first and I bought a couple of suits at Dress Barn for when I'd drive it. That adventure only lasted a few months and we sold it after attempting to "fix it up" to be somewhat in line with the other cars. I did find it hard to find appropriate black suits. I think I'd do just what you suggested, buy a man's suit and have it altered for you. Men's Wherehouse would be a good place to start for a reasonable suit and their alterations aren't too pricey. When we do trade shows etc. or I ride along for a childs birthday party or when I've done some training of prospective chauffeurs, I wear the black suit with a tux blouse or pretty collared blouse. Ricky's girlfriend usually works the booth with me and she wears a cute tux blouse and vest with black slacks. (She gets lots more attention than I do! LOL) I notice the female drivers of other companies wear white blouses and black slacks. Haven't seen a suit on a female yet. But here in CA it's pretty hot most of the time so a jacket isn't necessary. Have a great 4th of July holiday. We have some runs, but it's going to be nice to rest and Bar B Q tomorrow evening---that is unless someone calls! Can't plan too far in advance haha! Kathy
Hello Kathy, Just curious, but do you drive? If so, where do you get your suits? I have a few, but they are not usually made to the same standard that men's suits are, and they look bad quickly. I am almost at the point where I will buy a men's suit and have it tailord to fit me! Thanks! Lenora Bowman Johnny B's Limousine Service
