I recently purchased a 2013 Chrysler 300 (130') from Tiffany. I know, not the best choice. I will use the next few lines to defend my purchase before admitting my mistake. I am new to the business but did my research before purchasing this as my first vehicle. It seems all coach builders have issues that come and go with build years. With all the financial shake up recently none of them seem to be the company they were a few years ago. I just went with one who seemed stable and made the prettiest car in and out. The Tiffany interior is by far my favorite. Unfortunately it seems they took advantage of my naivety.

One problem after another with this thing. Most of the problems are audio/visual and I am working through them with the help of Tiffany so no need to discuss here. The problem they seem to have no clue how to fix is a horrible vibration that seems directly linked to rpm and throttle. It vibrates noisily throughout the car at around 3k to 4k rpms, especially under load. It has done this since day one. I mentioned it on the test drive when taking delivery of the vehicle form the Tiffany factory in Perris CA. They explained that my passengers would all be drunk and would never notice the fact that the car interrupted their conversation regularly and gave them a free but unwanted massage. After I told them to get real they admitted that they just started doing new 300 builds and have no idea what the problem is. Unfortunately I already had the car booked and there was no time to leave it with them while they attempted to figure out how to build a limo properly. I did notice while touring the facility that there were 7-10 other new 300s being built so I am likely not alone in my misery. Has anyone figured this out? All Tiffany has suggested is that I replace an exhaust mount. The mount has been replaced with no improvement. The problem has left several local mechanics scratching their heads. Please help if you have any insight.

Symptoms:
-noise and vibration most of the time but especially between 3k and 4k rpm
-Metallic sound added to noise at higher rpms (4k)
-Noise sounds like there is no muffler
-Vibration is in the floorboard all over the vehicle

FYI - What to expect when dealing with Tiffany:
-Your car will not be done on time
-Work starts for them when you call each day to remind them that even though they live in hopelessly broke CA, they still have to work. CALL OFTEN!
-Get pictures of your cars progress and make sure it is actually YOUR car they are sending pics of (they initially sent me pics of someone elses car and I had to call them out on it)
-Again, your car will not be done on time
-When you do finally manage to pry an official completion date out of them and arrive on that date to pick up your car, it will be obvious that they are rushing to complete it.
-You will have to complete the final 5% of the build by redoing whatever they screwed up and did not test.
