I finally got my voltage problems taken care of and it took forever. Now im battling a/c problems, 1 problem I had on my 2000 kk28 diesel the Ac lines for the front (driver and very rear) lines that go to compressor were cut by the air intake rubbing on the lines. So I had a pain in ads time find the correct hose. Then, I got it fixed or thought but the shop who re did the hose didn't clamp the metal on hose tight enough. So it was still leaking. So then I charge my middle Ac since it was just low and put some stop leak in it and worked great til a couple weeks ago I noticed the drier underneath the bus was leaking (saw die and oil) so I ended up going and getting a new drier. I went ahead took it to my buddy who works on acs and he noticed it didn't have the correct ends so I had to go get another plus they wouldnt return this one since it was opened. No big deal but pissed me off. I put the new one on vac the lines added oil and then added 134a everything seemed fine but for some odd reason the Ac kept shutting down ( the fans about every 20 seconds) and would come on about a min later then the time kept getting shorter while the fans were on. Til basically it would click on then off on then off an nenver had a chance to cool down.So at this point I picked up a group told them upfront which today in stl it's in 70s tonight that the Ac was having problems and they were fine so I left fan on to see possibly if the Ac would start working correctly and it was in high position. All a sudden the fan in cab above driver stopped working but the condemsor fans kept working underneath bus. So at this point I'm like wtf. I opened the panel above my head to left and noticed a melted fuse. So I tried to pullit out but it melted off the circuitboard. I had another fuse and I could probably fix it but I don't wanna do any damage to board or anything. I'm lost I thought the cycling on and off was a low pressure from freon but seems like something else is going on. Any ideas??? I'm new to industry of last year so any input would be great.
