Just sold my 2003 Accubuilt/Vartanian 6 pax Limo Van. Perhaps they have improved in the last 2-3 years but here is a recap of issues we had with it:

1) AC system was inadeqaute. To their credit Accubuilt did take it back once to beef it up at their own cost, but I still had to put an additional $1500 into it to fix the hacked up hose routing afterwards. This vehicle always seemed to be in the shop for AC issues. A local competitor's van by this same manufacturer was usually already at the shop for AC issues when I dropped mine off. Coincidence or poor design? You make the call.

2) Solid partition motor failed/broke twice

3) Coachbuilder installed interior door handle pulls not adequately secured to frame. Constantly coming loose or falling off.

4) Stereo/DVD/VCR was miswired when I bought it. Took it apart and connected the wires correctly myself.

5) Interior roof fabric began to sag after 24 months.

The rest of the vehicle was solid and performed well but based on the above issues occuring in such a short time frame I will not be purchasing from this manufacturer again.

Hey they just bought DaBryan Coachbuilders also. Hope they don't start telling the folks at DaBryan how to build limos.

Yeah, the Dabryan Limo Van ads looked suspiciously to me like the Accubuilt van.

Thanks for pointing this out Wade.
