We would like an unequivocal statement from you as to where you stand on either termination or non-renewal of the management contract between NLA and Host Communications. We would also like an unequivocal statement on where you stand with respect to the reelection of Darryl Norman as president of NLA.

This is what a Nominating Committee gets us - candidates for director who have been begged to run to meet an arbitrary requirement of electing directors by "region" which has no support in the by-laws and who plan on "coasting" onto the board by avoiding any questions, taking no positions, and no way for the members to nominate candidates that THEY want. We have to pick from this group??? No wonder the board is a clown act.
Jeff is obviously too busy to serve as an NLA director.

I do apoligize for not replying sooner. I have had a bout with sickness that has kept me from responding. I am feeling much better and offer this. I believe that there does need to be a lot of change with the NLA. I personally and not happy with what I have seen from host. Although I honestly, can answer that with out all the facts. There are a lot of issues that legislatively, must be dealt with to lessen the burden on our industry. For example, the gas guzzler tax has been an issue for years. Why hasn't it been repealed. I don't have the answer to that, but it is definetly my goal to get some closure on this and many other topics. I have been attempting to post my background and have had problems, which I will cantact the webhost to help me do.

To answer about Daryl Norman, I must tell you that, I like Daryl very much and think he is a very honest and good business man. I think Daryl has had his time as president and it is now time for new blood and leadership to redirect the direction of the NLA
