Rotted out rocker panel on a classic limousine

I have a 2001 classic attitude stretch and much to my suprise the right side lower rocker panel was badly rotted out, which is strange because the rest of the car is in excellent shape. I had to cut out all of the lower rocker panel in the center section. It was wet on the inside from the three ice chest drains leaking. the drains were not square with the body so the drain hoses were kinked and eventually got holes in them. I just wanted to pass this along to everyone so you dont have to do major surgery like i did.

Personally, I've never heard of that before, I can only assume that you have been the unlucky recipient of a one off problem, seem loads of this model and so far not seen the problem.
