I am considering an 2004 Tiffany. I would like to hear the good, the bad, and the ugly. Thanks for your input.

I know nothing about the 2004 models . However based on the 1998 that I have now, I would not buy another one. The interior is slightly above utilitarian, the j-seat is not leather or even imitation leather. The base of the j-seat is pressboard (it broke once). I feel there is too much lexan. On the exterior they did not get a good color match on the stretched portion. The finer finishing on the vinyl top is sub-standard in my opinion. It has a single alternator Hehr system that has caused me a bit of worry and grief.
To the plus side, it is still water tight, and I have not found any rust anywhere (yet!). I have had no problems or complaints about the A/C. Mecahanically it has been quite alright, no vibrations and no extraneous issues. Would I buy another one? If I had to knock off $6-7K to save money I might, but probably not. I have an acquaintance that has an 2001 DaBryan and he is having rust and water problems - nice interior though. Just so you know, I had to purchase mine based on pictures from an outfit in California. I do not regret buying this particular limousine, but I would probably not buy that model again, and definitely not purchase by pictures again. Why are you looking at a Tiffany anyway, don't you heve builders a lot closer to you than that? Good luck in whatever you choose.

Hi Daryl,
I received one of their marketing fax's on the sell off of the 04 models. Based on the price and what I saw of the car, it seems like a decent deal. The interior is rather basic, and I planned on adding a few extras. The model I am getting has these features (fp500):
Tiffany Touch Electrical System (touch screen)
Dual Alternators and Dual Batteries
Master Air Conditioning
Heavy Duty Condenser w/ Cooling Fan
Deluxe Carpet w/ heavy duty automotive padding
Deluxe Floor Mats with Rubberbacking
Full Vinyl Top with Reduction Window
Two Window design w/ 12 LED Coachlamps per Side
Bar w/Footrail and Fiberoptics
Mirrored Ceiling w/Fiberoptics
Ice Lids Match Console
Lazer Cut Acrylic Glassholder w/ LED Lighting
Lighted Vanity Visors
Partition with Solid Divider
Headrails with Fiber
15” Flat Monitor in Partition w/ DVD Player
AM/FM Radio with Single Disc CD Player
500 Style J Seating
Ice Compartment behind J Seat
Standard Factory Rear Seat
12 Volt Power Point Rear Package Tray
Trash in Trunk
Chauffuer Station in front
I figured on adding a few things to the interior like a light dish or something like that to make it a little more flashy. The price is right, however I was looking for more input. I have to make a final decision on it this week as financing is already in line. Thanks for the input!

Sounds like they caught up to the rest of the world. I guess there are only two things I can say to double check on. What type of material the j-seat is going to have? As well, ask about the finishing of the vinyl top down in the corners where it transitions, at the edge below the rear window at the trunk corners. Again, good luck.

Further to the above posts despite sending 3 emails to Tiffany 1 to the the stores, 1 to CEO as no reply to the first & the last to the sales manager to thank him for helping me make up my mind that i will never buy a Tiffany again due to zero aftersales service i would not recommend anyone ever to buy a tiffany conversion ever because as good as they are if something goes wrong you are in the crap IE on your own very disgruntled ex customer(Wakey wakey somebody at Tiffany)

Since I have had my Tiffany for a little over a month now, and finally got my fiber box problem fixed, thus far I am happy with the vehicle. I have had responsive follow up service from Tiffany regarding the probelem I had. Everyone that has saw the limo and know them has said that it is a very well built vehicle. Time will tell how it holds up as the years go on, and I will report periodically on the progress. Thus far the car handles great. The "Tiffany Touch" system is fantastic, AC/Heat will just about blow you out of the car (as Wade stated about a DaBryan). The bar is clean with LED lighting (very sharp), and a stainless steel footrail to keep feet off the bar. The Blaupunkt stereo and DVD are nice touches. As long as the computer system in the car functions proerly I am hoping this will be a good vehicle.

I am very sorry to hear your response from Tiffany Coachworks. I have recently started here at Tiffany and needless to say i am very happy with everybody that i am working with. I used to be a limousine owner. I was in the business for 5 years and made all my purchases thru Tiffany. If there was evr a time that you might be interested in another vehicle please give me the chance to change your view of Tiffany Coachworks. Thanks again. Rob Obbink

2 years into my Tiffany, had to take vehicle in for warranty work. Tiffany has not put my car into OASIS and dealer refused to do work! Dealer called Tiffany, SLOW RESPONSE! I still do not know if the car is in the system. My questionis WHY? In my mind there is no excuse for a vehicle not being input into OASIS right away, let alone 2 years after the sale! Dealer called QVM and they told dealer to call Tiffany. If this was an urgent issue I would have been screwed as this was a Tuesday I brought the vehicel in to the dealer and had to bring it back out on Friday to work.
I dont think I will be purchasing another vehicle from Tiffany Coach as service after the sale seems less than desirable from my perspective.
On a good note, there was also an issue with the control box (my second issue with this unit) from MTG. Unit was FEDEX'd out overnight, repaired and sent back. NOW THAT IS SERVICE. Maybe Tiffany should take notes. Kudos MTG!

I purchased mine used, it's the 2nd Tiffany that I've owned and I'm VERY happy with it. I do agree that the press-board seat is a bit cheesy but the rest has held-up fantastic. Currently the car has 123k miles on it. The last Tiffany I had was a 1996 and was sold with 230k miles on it and everything was still in great working order.
I've also owned a Krystal and loved it. Other off-brand stuff has been junk and was sold asap.

I was the proud owner of a new Tiffany from 2004 to 2008. I had some minor problems in the beginning (MTG BOX) and after calling Bill it was immediately fixed for free. After that I had a smooth run until I sold it a few months ago because of a downturn in stretch business. The car is now happily operating in the previous Soviet Union.
