...No smoking seems to be the overwhelming norm. The only problem I have, is where I live, most everyone smokes. I think the plan will be to inquire weather they want smoking or non smoking. Have one of my cars cleaned up and deodorized and desigante it as no smoking and see which ones go out more. I predict it will be like the no smoking sections in the area Restaurants lots of seats available and people waiting for smoking sections. So goes life in "Hooterville". It's a rough crowd up here.

DAVID: I OWNED A TAXI SERVICE 2 YRS B4 I SWITCHED TO LIMOS. I NEVER ALLOWED SMOKING IN ANY OF MY VEHICLES.I HAVE ALLERGIES TO TOBACCO AND I TEL MY SMOKING CUSTOMERS THAT IT IS AGINST STATE REGULATIONS TO SMOKE IN A CAB OR PUBLIC TRANSPERTATION. I ALSO MENTION IT IS ALSO AGINST COMPANY POLICY AND THAT I'M ALLERGIC TO SMOKE. THIS USUALLY WORKS. IF THE CUSTOMER INSISTS ON SMOKING I PULL OVER AT A SAFE PLACE AND ASK THE CUSTOMER TO LEAVE THE VEHICLE.I'VE NEVER HAD TO DO THIS.BUT I DO STICK TO THE NO SMOKING POLICY AND MY CUSTOMERS KNOW IT. I'VE YET TO REMIND MY OLD CUSTOMERS YOU USE MY LIMO SERVICE ABOUT SMOKING.IF YOU STICK TO YOUR GUNS ON THE SMOKING ISSUE AND POLITE ABOUT IT I DOUBT YOU WILL LOSE A CUSTOMER OVER IT.PEOPLE TAKE A LIMO TO GET SOMEWHERE IN STYLE NOT TO SMOKE!GOOD LUCK http://limos.com/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

It's not just the smell, how about the damage to upholstery that's NOT cheap to repair, and looks like crap in the daylight, for those dayside hires . . . http://limos.infopop.cc/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif
