One six pack in the DC/Baltimore area???? Six figures???? Good luck, with the number of limo companies in the Balto/Washington corridor I seriously doubt it. How much and what type of homework did you do before starting this venture?

I'm in the research stages right now. The six figures was more of a question than expectation. I'll reword the question by asking what is a realistic first year potential?

If you are researching the limousine business from the outside in, I have a suggestion. I strongly recommend that if you have not already done so, go to work for a full time limousine service in your area. That is the best way to learn the pros and cons of the business. If you would like a simple way to judge the failure rate for this industry you should take a yellow pages from 5 years ago and compare it to a current yellow pages. In my opinion, the DC/Balto. market is over saturated with operators. Many of these operators are offering cut rate deals just to keep their cars moving. The prices offered are less then what it takes to operate. Good luck with your venture.
