I never let people in without a signed contract in-hand and a CC on file, even if it's a cash run. What happens if they tear it up without a contract?? Good luck fighting it.

Contract must be signed before getting into any vehicle.

Once a reservation is made for retail charter clients we send out an Agreement To Hire for the client's signature with a SASE spelling out date, pick-up time and location, length of hire, specific vehicle, cancellation, non-refundable deposit, behavior standards, estimated charges, etc. Upon receipt of this signed document we charge the client's credit card for the estimated charges unless they include a check received at least one week prior to hire. We do not do last minute hires unless it is a repeat client with a good track record (Experience is a cruel but effective teacher). For point-to-point transfers we include our website address for Reservation and Cancellation Policy with their emailed confirmation. Every time we have made an exception to this policy we have regretted it. The risk is too great and the rewards too small.

Signed contract, paid in full, credit card on file before the ride begins. Only exceptions to this rule is if it is a regular and reliable client.
