I have a question i know american custom coach as a coachbuilder is out. but did they use there building in arkansas to build limo's for federal and maybe a third company . i had a 1988 hess &eisenhardt vip 56" inch 5 door and had a fun time trying to figure out where it was built the door sticker said there plant in ohio, but i heard those limo's where made down south by armbruster stageway or up here in michigan.what i'm getting at are the qvm or cmc programs letting companies do this .

The three you mentioned were all different builders. Two that you mentioned were before QVM programs existed. Federal took over the old Armbruster plant. American Custom Coach had their own plant in Arkansas.

H&E had Allen Coachworks build their cars for a few years back in the day-I had a 1991 H&E that actually was a Allen Coachworks car.

In response to wade randolph , i looked at a
american custom coach limo and the dr sticker said (vanburen arkansas) and going through info i had saw that the federal coaches and american coachs looked so much alike like a cookie cutter type limo one design different name plates. that led me to belive they where one in the same.
thanks for info
