I purchased a 2003 140 Excursion Fantasy III last March from ECB. There have been few times in my life that I have been 100% satisfied and this vehicle is one of them. The vehicle was delivered on time and not a single thing wrong with it. Everything worked perfectly and we have had this car one year and not one single problem yet. I can honestly say I am totally satisfied with this vehicle and could not be happier with my choice. I hope this thread is for positive comments as well as negative.

Yes, we absolutely need to hear both sides.

Everyone loves the interior of our 1999 70" ECB. It still looks brand new on the inside - almost as nice as a new car, but to the picky eye I am a bit disappointed with some bubbling I am finding on the exterior paint on the portion painted by ECB during the stretch process.

Overall electrical reliability has been good.

I bought a brand new (2002) 120" Excursion. Beautiful SUV. Well received by the customers. Had a warranty challenge with one of the Tv's. ECB paid my repairshop to fix and replace. Other than that there have been absolutely no other problems.
However, I picked up another used Excursion 1 1/2 years later and was appalled to see 2 completely different colors and patterns of vinyl top vs the side panel inserts. Its not weather related, or any such nonsense. I believe it to be strictly a quality control issue at ECB, two completely different material/dye lots. I will be the first to admit that it is not glaringly obvious to the untrained eye ~ but as we all know that for the price paid for one of these units you have the right to be critical if it is warranted.
Would I buy another one - yes. They get a two thumbs up.

Have 2 ECB's. Won't buy anything else now.

One annoyance, they don't have a full battery for the second electrical, which is a bit silly, but not a showstopper.

O.K. I`ve changed my mind,I`m keeping it.ECB paid for the repairs and Stratton`s autobody in Harrietsville, near Aylmer,Ontario did an awsome job on the car.I guess all the hiccups have been cleared I hope!My thanks to the guys at ECB for keeping me happy.

Well, as suggested by Tex above, here is another side:

Ordered and took delivery of a 2005 Icon just prior to the LV limo show. Car was not built to specs/PO and did come with absolutely no paperwork although some was specifically ordered in the PO.

Quite amazing, that there are no manuals for the stretch and/or the equipment therein (like audio, video, etc) - quite amazing for a $ 60k plus purchase price!

But what really makes us think is the fact, that we ordered some spec sheets needed to register the vehicle in Europe. No data sheets - no registration - no rental and high season just ahead - no income but financial damages caused by ECB!

The missing items were claimed immediately and promised, but now (one month down the road) ECB explains that we must get these from Ford ourselves! GREAT customer service http://limos.infopop.cc/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

Anyone else with similar experiences? We are about to buy a second unit - there will be definitely no more ECB in our live.

Any input is appreciated ...

Have a nice day

I didnt get a manual with my Tiffany explaining the new electronic control's either. Yes a different coachbuilder but I see a trend here. Perhaps someone with the NLA could lobby these coachbuilders to make sure we are getting what we pay for? It seems all the builders care about is getting their damn cars out the door and nothing else. I willnot buy another Tiffany again, I will tell you that much. Not one follow up call in 6 months to see how their piece of equipment is operating.

My experience with Executive has been good overall. I was always treated fairly. Executive is always on my list.
