This question is for David Merrill. Is Destiny Coach or was Destiny Coach the same company as Great Lakes Coach who is doing the bus conversions and non QVM stretches?

The way I understand it was when NCE went under, part of the people went on to establish Destiny while others went on to establish Great Lakes. When I visited Destiny last Oct., I just walked in and walked out. The way things looked then, I did not want to leave any money behind.

Great Lakes on the other hand is alive and well is is in business about 10 miles up the road from the old NCE plant in Port Sanilac. Great Lakes is doing a ton of H2's and escalaids as well as buses and rehabs. I would not have Great Lakes build me a Limo because I am a GVM/CMC advocate but I would have no problem leaving a deposit with them for a Bus conversion or a rehab.

Are you kidding me??? I think ANYONE reading this and thinking of doing business with GL needs to do a search and read all the posts regarding Great Lakes customer service!!! They are FAR from great!!!

From what I have gathered in reading this short thread about Destiny Coach Builders is that they were a very sub-par builder that lasted only a handful of years. Unfortunately, I did not do to much research before buying my first car and ended up buying one of them. Looks like I should have stuck with a more solid group like Tiffany, Krystal, DaBryan etc... I guess we all live and learn.
