I'm considering purchase of a small, ill run, limo service. I feel confident about market share, marketing and operations, but am very hesitant about the vehicles. These are an '88 and '89 6-pax in fair to good condition. Would appreciate any comments. I am also interested if anyone would be willing to share information related to insurance, etc. as well as contracts, service agreements, etc. Thanks.

I think it is very difficult to run an effective service with old-body style vehicles. A lot of consumers don't like paying $40 hour for a limo that is 15 years old.
When people want a limo, they think of luxury. Its hard to convince the buying public that a car which is 15 years old is the lap of luxury.
If you run your limo service like a taxi-service, you may have better luck with the older vehicles.
